We are the Lakeview
Toastmasters of Oakland, California - a diverse, friendly and
supportive group of men and women who meet weekly to improve our
communication and leadership skills.
We hope that you will be our
guest at one of our future meetings.
Since its founding in November 1959, the Lakeview Club has
helped hundreds of East Bay residents improve their communication
and leadership skills through weekly one hour meetings. The club
members are committed to creating a friendly and effective
learning environment at very low cost.
Semi-annual dues are only $39. There is no cost to visit!
About the Toastmasters Communication and Leadership
Program
The Toastmaster's Communication and Leadership (C&L) program is
proven through 80 years of refinement in use with millions of
members worldwide. If you choose to join & complete the C&L
program, you will develop these skills to further your
professional and personal development:

Who are our members?
Of the 27 current Lakeview members, 14 reside in Oakland; the
remaining members work in Oakland or adjoining cities. The group
includes non-profit professionals, MDs, architects, and
several private sector executives and professionals. One Lakeview
member is a professional public speaker and trainer who got his
start in public speaking at the Lakeview Club.
Lakeview Toastmasters earned the highest recognition of success from Toastmasters International in 2008: The President's Distinguished Club Award.
